KÜTAŞ Group, pioneer in Turkey for Quality and Safe Herbs & Spices from Origin, established KÜTAŞ Agro in 1993 for cultivating high quality Oregano in Manisa Salihli region.

Oregano, Laurel and Sage are naturally found in Turkey, however; because of unconsciously cutting the natural crop, the existing quantity in Nature is decreasing.

KÜTAŞ Group has foreseen this happening and started cultivated production.

KÜTAŞ Agro has grown every year since its inception, and relative to world demand, developed its product range and their respective quality.

Today Planting is done, 1500 decar Oregano (Oregano Vulgare), 500 decar Sage (Salvia officinalis), 400 decar Thyme (thymus vulgaris), 100 decar Savory (Satureja hortensis); 2500 decars in Total. R&D for new possible herbs are also in trials.

Fully computerized State of the art drip irrigation systems are being used for full economic and resource benefit.
Harvesting is done 3 – 4 times a year with special harvesting machines.

Once the material is harvested, some of it is dried naturally (Sun Dried) and the rest is dried in special automated drying facilities.
